Pulitzer Prize-winner Lynn Nottage takes a funny and irreverent look at racial stereotypes depicted during the golden age of Hollywood as she follows the life of Vera Stark, a headstrong African-American maid and budding actress, and her tangled relationship with her boss, a white Hollywood star desperately grasping to hold on to her career. How will the story unfold when both land roles in the same Southern epic? Only time will tell.

Performance Schedule

All Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30pm.  All Sunday performances are at 3 pm.

This show will be performed in the Butler Black Box Theatre.

Parking and Directions

All performances will be held at The Old Post Office Play House at 10 South Main Ave, Newton, NC  28658. There is parking around the square as well as adjacent to the theatre.
