Hamlet is Shakespeare’s first masterpiece, arguably the greatest tragedy in the English language. Charged by his father’s ghost to kill his uncle, the new King Claudius, Prince Hamlet struggles with doubt and alienation in Denmark’s corrupt court.

Parking and Directions
All performances will be held at The Old Post Office Play House at 10 South Main Ave, Newton, NC 28658. There is parking around the square as well as adjacent to the theatre.

All of our performance spaces and classrooms are accessible to patrons who use wheelchairs. Most restrooms and water fountains in all facilities are wheelchair accessible, and restrooms are equipped with strobe-light as well as audio alarm systems.
