This unique experience is a week-long theatre day camp in which students in Kindergarten through 12th grade explore the exciting world of William Shakespeare and his times. Then they participate in a production of one of his plays!
Using Shakespeare as a guide, participants learn more about acting, auditioning skills, costumes, scenery, how to memorize, mask making, lights, make-up, becoming a character on the stage, and working as an ensemble. These are key elements to becoming a better performer (and it can help with English classes, too).
This summer, you’re invited to boogie into the world of Shakespeare with a disco twist on “Much Ado About Nothing!” Campers will bring this classic comedy to life with acting, singing, dancing, and a whole lot of Saturday Night Fever flair.
