Storybook Theatre uses familiar fables and fairy tales as a fun way to introduce you to the craft of performing. By creating characters, students will become familiar with acting techniques. They will also learn how to audition and present themselves for directors in the best possible light!

This class will concentrate on theatre and movement and will be filled with theatre games, acting, improv, choreography, audition prep, memorization, and so much more. At the end of our class, you will feel more confident about Stepping Into the Spotlight.

Melissa is going to teach dance steps to a number of your favorite musicals as well as creating stories through movement, but the fun doesn’t end there. Through instruction and practice, students will choreograph their own songs and stories.
Wednesday, 4:00-5:30, 6th-9th

This class focuses on actor ability through character work and ensemble acting.
Students will be researching characters, understanding script intent and learn how to find balance on stage.

A class packed with Theatre Games to introduce and strengthen acting, designing, managing, writing, and producing plays. Caution: Pandemonium and wild laughter have been known to erupt at any given moment.

Come join our very first intro to technical theatre class. The theatre’s technical director, master of props & costumes and creative director will begin a foundation of what happens to bring a show together on stage.

In this acting class, middle school students explore building character in a variety of formal and informal theatre. Acting skills such as audition & stage skills, improv, fight choreography, and observation are studied.
